Non-Repositionable Needle for Pre-Operative localization of Mammary Nodules, Slimline
MarkSlim (PNS) is a needle provided with a non-repositionable stainless steel wire for preoperative localization of not palpable breast lesions.
 
It is equipped with:
Dot AISI 304 steel cannula with Lancet Tip to enable high penetration capacity avoiding excessive defl ection and maximize the precision of insertion
Dot Transparent Luer Cone with an insertion funnel for easy wire loading.
 
The reduced dimensions of "Slime line" needle cone, allows to get through the holes of the compression plane of the mammography machine.

The wire is marked in two places indicating the hook position into the cannula; the fi rst line indicates that the wire is located in the proximity of the tip needle; the second one warns the complete leakage of the hook from the tip. The needle allows dye injections and liquids aspirations.

Centimeter Markings and sliding stopper on the cannula surface to easily determine the insertion depth. The needle is provided with a special clamp to fi x the protruding wire to the skin avoiding its movement.

The hook on the tip of the wire, is available in three diff erent geometric versions:

Semiautomatic Non-Repositionable Needle for Pre-Operative localization of Mammary Nodules
AutoMark (PNA) is a needle equipped with a not repositionable stainless steel wire for pre-operative localization of not palpable breast lesions. It is provided with wire activation system by pressing a button allowing the doctor to use only one hand leaving free the second one to manipulate the ultrasound guidance or other devices.
 
AutoMark Needle is Equipped with:
Dot AISI 304 steel cannula with Lancet tip to enable high penetration capacity avoiding excessive defl ection and maximize the precision of insertion.
Dot Transparent Luer cone with insertion funnel that allows an easy re-introduction of the wire.

Repositionable Needle for Pre-Operative localization of Mammary Nodules
RepoMarkK (PRk) is a repositionable needle for pre-operative localization of not palpable breast lesions.
 
It is equipped with:
Dot AISI 304 steel cannula with Lancet Tip to enable high penetration capacity avoiding excessive deflection and maximize the precision of insertion.
Dot Wire with single curve hook.
 
The needle allows dye injection and liquids aspiration. Centimeter markings and sliding stopper on the cannula surface to easily determine the insertion depth with the maximum safety for the patient.

The wire may be easily retracted and repositionated without loosing its effi ciency thanks to the elastic memory of the tip. The operator has the possibility to repeat the operation whenever necessary.

The needle is provided with a special clamp to fix the protruding wire to the skin avoiding its movement.

Feature a medical nitinol wire with single curve hook (Homer type).
Dot Insert the needle into the breast and localize the nodule
Dot Press the positioner, check the correct position. In case of error, draw back the positioner and repeat the operation
Dot When the right position is reached, push the button on the handle and release the wire
Dot Draw back and remove the needle
Dot Leave the hook inserted into the breast and fix it with the clamp
